Prosciutto Wrapped Figs
You want an a quick, easy, and impressive appetizer? If you can get fresh figs (they are usually only fresh during summer womp womp) these are a crowd pleaser and the easiest thing you will ever do in a kitchen, seriously.
what you need:
- Fresh figs (you will be halving or quartering them so get however many you need for who you are feeding) (I got about 7)
- Thinly sliced prosciutto
- Olive oil
what you need to do:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Prepare a cookie sheet by wrapping it in foil. Spray with cooking spray.
- If your figs are large, slice in half and then in half again to create even quarter size slices. If your figs are small, slice in half. You want bite sized pieces.
- Slice your prosciutto in long thin slices. You want them to wrap around the figs 1-2 times so slice accordingly.
- Wrap each fig around a prosciutto slice and place on the cookie sheet.
- Drizzle each piece with olive oil.
- Put in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the prosciutto is dark and crispy.
- Serve immediately for best taste!
