Hi everyone! As I mentioned on Instagram I am participating in a 45 day fitness/healthy eating challenge beginning January 18 through my gym, F45. What better time to create some healthy habits and eat clean than January?? The challenge comes with a “meal plan” online, and because the recipes can be a bit bland or lacking in flavor, I have decided to take the recipes and make them my own, for all of our enjoyment. Healthy doesn’t have to be plain salads or chicken breast for every meal. We can make healthy fun and exciting and DELICIOUS!
While there is really no outline or rules, the main objective is simple: eat clean. This means: no alcohol (sorry), no processed foods, no sugar, low carbs, lots of veggies and fruits, PROTEIN, and portion control/calorie counting.
An example of a day on the meal plan is as follows:
Breakfast, AM snack, Lunch, PM snack, Dinner
While I will not be creating meal plans, I will be posting a variety of recipes for you to mix and match depending on your preference. All of the recipes will be listed below by meal type. I have combined lunch and dinner options because they are all basically interchangeable.
